Guest Players

All Guests must pre-register once per calendar year before they can be included in a court booking or session registration.

Court Bookings

After completing your (Guest) Non-Member Registration, the VPA member who is inviting you to play will be able to book the court time. As a VPA guest, your host must include you in his or her court booking. The member doing the booking will also pay for the Guest’s court fee ($18.00 incl GST) at the time of booking. Cancellations will generate a refund to the member’s club credit account regardless of the method of payment.

Calendar Sign-ups 

Guests can be invited to play in Calendar Sign-ups (organized play such as Round Robins) on a “By Request & Space-Available" basis. The member inviting a Guest should complete the following steps.

Step 1 - Ask the Guest to complete the Non-Member registration on the VPA public website.
Step 2 - Send an email request to Kevin at vpaoperations6801@gmail.com at least 3 days in advance but only after the Guest has registered as a Non-Member.
Step 3 - After confirmation of the booking, ensure that the Guest logs back into their VPA non-member account to pay their court fee ($18.00) by credit card.
Step 4 - Some of our members are particularly vulnerable to respiratory illnesses and influenza.  Please ask that if Guests are not feeling well, that they respect our members and cancel..
Step 5 - If the event has a skill-based component, advise the Host of the Guest(s) pickleball skill level to allow for appropriate court assignment.

Guests should arrive 15 minutes in advance to facilitate orderly social distancing on entry. 

Identify yourself at the Front Desk before going to your assigned court.

Footwear worn outside is not permitted past the front desk. Please bring a water proof bag for wet or muddy boots. Change into your clean court shoes at your assigned court.
